Chapter 8 Commander Lynn Burnett becomes Department of Arizona Junior Vice Commander

On Monday, March 30th, DAV East Valley Chapter 8 Commander Lynn Burnett accepted the Department Commander's appointment to the office of Department of Arizona Junior Vice Commander. In that role, which he will fill concurrently with his responsibilities as Chapter Commander, his responsibilities are to learn the processes that help govern and guide the Department of Arizona, understand the roles of the other Department officers, and managing the statewide Volunteer Transportation Network (VTN) that provides Veterans with transportation to and from their appointments at Arizona's three VA Hospitals and is slowly expanding to include transportation between the hospitals and outlying clinics.
