The DAV Chapter 8 and DAVA Unit 8
FY2027 Election Process has Begun!

This Saturday, March 14th, both DAVA Unit 8 and DAV Chapter 8 held the first round of nominations for officers for the FY2027 year. This was just the beginning! Next month, on April 11th, the second round of nominations in both Unit 8 and Chapter 8 will take place, followed immediately by the FY2027 elections.

Any member wanting to vote in the elections must have either their membership card or a government photo ID that can be checked against the chapter/unit membership list. New members, please bring your temporary card (receipt from when you joined) if you have not yet received your permanent card. Nominees must be physically present to accept a nomination.
In accordance with both DAV and DAVA Bylaws, voting must be done at the time of the election, in-person, after members have been verified. No proxy, videoconference, or absentee votes may be cast.
