A Commander and Past Commander together and no Clock around! What could possibly go wrong?

Thursday morning, March 12, 2026, Chapter 8 Commander Lynn Burnett and Past Commander Carl Forkner were hosted by the Greenfield Village Veterans Group in Mesa. Lynn and Carl discussed DAV programs and gave an update on what is going on with the VA and Arizona state legislation.

At the end of the Q&A session, Jim Leonard, the club's president, donated a check for $1,000 to DAV East Valley Chapter 8, in recognition of the great work that the Chapter does for the Veteran community. This is the third year that this great club has donated to help Chapter 8 continue their work for our Veterans, their families, and their survivors.
